About Atlanta Indoor Volleyball Club

Our Story

Atlanta Indoor Volleyball Club (AIVC) was founded in 2025 out of a simple idea: to create a fun, affordable, and player-centric volleyball league. We started as a small group of friends who simply wanted to organize our own games and quit forking an ever-increasing amount of money over to out-of-town for-profit sports clubs for little to no value. We eventually wish to grow the club to be able to welcome players of all skill levels through seasonal leagues, open gyms, and special events.

Currently, AIVC host weekly indoor league play in the Northeast Atlanta metro area. Our leagues run during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. We plan on hosting additional single-day events and open gyms available throughout the year. Whether you’re signing up with a full team, joining as a free agent, or just dropping in for a night of play, AIVC is here to make volleyball affordable, accessible, and enjoyable.

The club is member-driven and always open to feedback—if enough players want to try a new format, change locations, or tweak the rules, we’ll do our best to make it happen. What we do is not unique, but we strive to bring a uniquely personal approach to putting on fun and competitive leagues and events now and into the future.

How We Operate

ATL Indoor Volleyball Club is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that exists to create fun, affordable, and community-oriented indoor volleyball opportunities for adults in the Atlanta area.

We’re a 501(c)(7) social club, which means we operate to serve our members — not to make a profit. We offer recreational volleyball leagues, one-day tournaments, and open gym events throughout the year.
